(One) best friend

Today we have to write about a good friend. So, I’m going to talk about Paula. I have a group of really good friends -the “Meerkats”, from now on-, but the closest to me are my sister and Paula.

We met at school, eleven years ago, in 2008. She was one of my sister’s classmate -on that time we were in different classes, but the next year I was transferred to they class- we all are friends since then. We study and made the works together, had our first and all the “pijamadas” with the Meerkats, we going into family vacations, and after graduated we going into a travel together, only us without parents.

What I like about Paula is her joy, it’s like a light that she has inside and that compacts with the rest of us. She always has good advices, and is not afraid to do crazy things together, like that time she spends some days with us in Laguna Verde and we played inside the forest that the pineapples of the pines were pomegranates, the karaoke sessions or when we shout from the balcony.

Luckily, we never lose touch. We call each other or chat every week or month. There few times per year when we meet face to face, more than everything for birthdays, but also for cooking together, watch movies or play games. Lately, the meerkats meet more frequently, normally at the Paula’s dad’s house or in Caffes. Last time we, my sister and I, stayed to sleep in there and we were able to have breakfast together again.
